With a 90 minute estimated wait to pick up a car, we went on Expedia.com and booked an Alamo car on the spot, for only a small amount ore. The $50 difference saved us over an hour in a line. Will NOT rent from Budget again !

Tank wasn't full, then filled and was charged some when I returned it full. Car wasn't super clean. The service at pick up was really slow - over 1.5 hour wait to get my car which is awful when it's already reserved and paid for, and we had a long travel day. Not super pleased overall.

Car we ended up with was ok. We had to return 1st car as it had a wobble. 2nd car had check engine light. Price was wrong in e-mail and Hertz didn't want to do anything about it. Fought for 1st 2 hrs of our vacation to get the price quoted

I booked this through cheap flights it was supposed to be $199 everything included they even added the insurance in there by the time I got done it was $330 some odd dollars and a lot of double speak and I was already late because they sent you three different places to actually pick up the car never again I'll never do it through cheap flights and I will never rent from Dollar Thrifty or hurts again I'm going back to Enterprise few dollars more but at least they know what the hell they're doing and no surprise fees I use 3 gallons of gas the girl talked me into a gas program that was supposed to replace the gas at a competitive price 40 cents higher than anything I saw in Fort Myers is not a competitive price charging me $73 for a quarter tank of gas is absolutely ridiculous and trust me I'm not done spreading the word about how I got screwed at Dollar and ultimately h e r t z

When we walked into the rental office she just sat there like she was more interested in something else. We asked her several times if she could help up and was ignored. We asked if we needed to pay for a second driver she said yes. The other lady sad no to the people next to us..........Sad

The phone number on the shuttle pick-up window had been disconnected and was no longer in service. I had to look up the number and figure out how to get in touch with a live person for a pick-up. The car smelled like cigarette smoke, the seats had stains everywhere and the car charger didn’t work, even after trying three different cords.

I specifically picked a vehicle for 5 people and 4 suitcases. The tiny vehicle we got was not equipped for that. We had four adults with four suitcases. Only 3 would fit in the back so we had to squeeze on in the backseat.

Great first experience. No hassles and no problems. Care was like new with only 6500 miles on it. We had to wait a few minutes on the the shuttle but was prepared having read similar experiences in reviews. The office location is several miles from the Ft. Myers airport so it made sense it would take a 15 minutes to drop off and pick up. Saving $100 or more for a weeks regental was definitely worth the wait!!!

Staff was not accommodating and rude.. came to visit my family due to a death and the manager had a problem picking the car up from our hotel. Our fight was stepped up due to weather and I did not have time to drop off the car.. I have never dealt with such rude staff.. Arrived and had to wait for the staff to clean a car. Back in Boston never a problem dealing with staff always friendly and accommodating..
