Cheap Car Rentals in Azalea Acres / Sandy Heights, Norfolk

I booked the car at Norfolk instead of Newport News by mistake. When I called upon arrival, Hertz told me a car would cost an additional $221. That is on top of the prepaid of $54. It was a one day rental. Went to Budget and got a car for $67.

-there was only one attendant working and she had a lot to do. It was a long wait to get to her and then when we got our car it hadn’t been cleaned. It was very dirty. After about 40 minutes of them cleaning it my husband noticed that there was a screw in the tire and so they gave us a different car. It seems like they need more staff working there. It took us two hours to pick up our car. Also, the first car that they gave us was smaller than the size we rented.

Overcharged me on the rental. What my receipt says from Budget, and what was charged to my card are two different numbers, not in my favor. Called them to fix the situation, they did not provide a resolution, offered to send me an email for me to provide further information, never sent that email to me. Ultimately robbing me of time and money and so far not providing adequate resolution.

Van wasn't ready when we arrived. Clerk handled immediately and efficiently.

The van itself was fine and pretty clean. Drop off was easy. The scheduled pick up at 9am on a Sunday took more than an hour and a half to have the vehicle, which then threw off my departure time. There was not a long line or wait. Just not enough staff and no progress made as to getting my rental.
