The gentleman who gave us our car in Edinburgh (I'm sorry I forget his name!) was very pleasant and helpful. It was a very busy day, but he was not rushed and gave us all the time we needed. We returned the car early at London Stansted Airport and used the drop box.

I booked an 8 seater van and was given a Peugeot 5008 instead. Had booked the vehicle via a 3rd party some 3 months before hand. The reason given for the change of vehicle was that they were busy. I did question that when the booking was taken they had the vehicle I wanted so why not now? No real reason was given other than they were busy. To give the staff their due, they did offer me 2 vehicles for the same price if the 5008 was not big enough. I must also say that the staff were pleasant ands tried their best around the situation they had to deal with which was in all likelyhood out of their control. Other than the wrong vehicle and the delay the replacement vehicle caused the vehicle was good and drop off very easy.

Wait time for pick up was long, and the service agent tried to upsell us on insurance, even though we were already covered. The vehicle was much nicer than we were expecting and it didn't have any issues other than the check engine service light coming on at the very end of our trip. We had to change our drop off point and the customer service agent on the phone was very accommodating and helpful with the change. Overall, I was satisfied with this rental experience.

The service from your staff was great. The car had surprisingly a lot of trunk room for it's size The car I rented needed new wiper blades. A disappointment since this is an essential piece of safety equipment in Scotland. I was also startled that changing from a manual transmission to an automatic was so costly. considering the windy narrow roads, it seems you would want to have have drivers who are used to right-hand driving use a simpler car to operate. Jerry
