Car was fine and most of the people I interacted with were fine, but I was charged an additional $120 that none of the advance material warned me about. The $120 was for their liability insurance. The company did not, in any of the pre-registration information gathering, inform me that they would need my car insurance information (not something I carry with me). They could have easily asked for this prior to pick-up OR they could have warned me that I would need to prove my coverage at pick-up. I have rented many many cars and have never needed to show my auto insurance info, tho I would have been happy to do so if I had been warned in advance and not left it at home. I won't rent from them again and have been telling all my colleagues and friends about their under-handed maneuver.
